The University of California, Irvine is one of the fastest growing campuses of the UC system, and has one of the largest physical layouts of any UC campus. Since its founding in 1965, its large and diverse campus settings have provided the location for scores of movies and other productions.

Professor Russell J. Dalton, nicknamed “The Professor” at UC Irvine, has compiled a list of films that have been filmed on campus here at UCI. Films include Ocean’s Eleven, Poltergeist, and Planet of the Apes.

In addition, Prof. Dalton has also compiled a list and an interactive map of movies that have been filmed in Orange County. Rest assure that “The Hangover 3” will be added shortly!
